Ladies Night Out

Crossroads Christian Church

Ladies Night Out

Monday, July 26th 6:30

Walter’s Cafe

To promote the fellowship of the ladies in the church we'll be hosting a ladies night out. The agenda is simple: fellowship and food! This is a fantastic way to get to know the other ladies in your church. It is also a great place to invite an unchurched friend who may be hesitant to come to a Sunday service.

RSVP: Kim Garroutte 462-4501 kgarroutte@yahoo.com

Or a signup sheet will be available by the TV in the foyer.

Details: Each lady is responsible for the purchase of their own meal, we will be ordering off the regular menu, if you choose to eat lighter and have just an appetizer/salad or skip dinner and you can just do dessert if you like. Unfortunately this restaurant does not break up the ticket for large parties, so please bring small bills.

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching Heb 10:25

Our vision
: is to facilitate getting the ladies connected via bible studies/small groups, and the the "Loving Well" retreat in a bag by Beth Moore. We will aim to offer this at the end of April with possibly two locations. In addition we want to provide opportunities to demonstrate our love of our Lord Jesus through service. To establish one "Action Team" and possibly a second by January 2011.

Primary Purpose: To help women ages 18 to Heaven Bound understand the love that "Abba Father" has for each one of them. Once they fully understand who they were created to be, they can then grab a hold of their purpose to love others as Christ loved them. Then they can share this love, by developing the fruit of the Spirit in their lives through Bible Study, and taking action to serve their families, our church, its members, our community and beyond.

Support Scriptures:  1John 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished
on us, that we should be called children of God! And that
                                    is what we are!
Psalms 119:10-11  I seek you with all my heart; do not let
me  stray from your commands. I have hidden your word
in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Romans 5:5   And hope does not disappoint us,
because God had poured out his love into our hearts by
the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
Galatians 5: 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
                                    patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self- contrl
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
