Operation Christmas Child Shoebox update:
Our goal this year was to fill 100 shoeboxes. Because
of the generous hearts of our Crossroads family, we
nearly met our goal as 108 shoeboxes were collected!
Thank you to all who participated in making a child's
Christmas brighter as they receive these shoeboxes
of love, along with the hopeful message of the gospel.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give
you hope and a future." ~Jeremiah 29:11
What is Operation Christmas Child?
Operation Christmas Child is an international ministry sponsored by Samaritan's Purse and founded by Franklin Graham (son of the late Rev.
Billy Graham). Every mid-fall, churches distribute shoeboxes to their church families to fill up with Christmas gifts to children all over the world
who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. Countless children have received Christ as a result of caring hearts sharing the love
of Jesus through these care packages.
Crossroads has been a participating church for a number of years. It is so very exciting to know that we are part of a huge global movement
that makes an eternal impact!
